Digital wallet app Paytm has made rail ticket booking easy to provide better convenience to its users. Paytm recently announced digital ticketing service through Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs) installed at all railway stations across the country.
After this service, passengers can book train tickets even if there is no cash. ( Digital Payment ) For this service, Paytm has tied up with Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation ( IRCTC ).
Tickets can be booked even if there is no money in the pocket
Users who are traveling by rail will be happy to know that they will be able to book rail tickets even if they do not have cash in their pockets. For this, they will have to use the new service of Paytm.
( Online Ticket Booking ) With the help of this service, passengers will be able to book tickets by scanning the QR code. Passengers ( Cashless Rail Ticket ) will get the option of net banking, credit card and debit card for payment. After which you will be able to take advantage of the journey of cashless ticket booking.
How to book train ticket through ATVM
Step 1- If you have to travel by train somewhere and you do not have cash, then you can book cashless rail ticket through Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVM).
Step 2- For this you have to go to your nearest railway station and use ATVM. Select the destination for ticket booking in ATVM or enter your smart card number for recharge.
Step 3- Then when the payment option comes, you have to select Paytm.
Step 4- After this, scan the QR code showing there with Paytm.
Step 5- After scanning you can book a physical ticket as per your convenience. Or you can recharge your smart card.
