Petrol Diesel Price: After remaining stable for four months, once again fuel prices have started increasing. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has given the reason for the continuous increase in the prices of petrol and diesel.

Petrol Diesel Price Hike: After remaining stable for a long time, the price of fuel (Petrol Diesel Price Hike) is again increasing continuously. In the last 6 days, the price of petrol and diesel has increased by 3.70 paise. Even today, fuel companies have increased the prices of petrol and diesel. Meanwhile, the government has given the reason for the continuous increase in fuel.

Petrol and diesel price hike

This wild increase in the prices of petrol and diesel has loosened the pockets of the general public. Fuel prices started increasing on Tuesday after remaining stable for four months. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has given the reason for the increasing fuel.

Nitin Gadkari replied 

Nitin Gadkari said, ’80 percent of oil is imported in India. At this time the war of Russia and Ukraine (Russia Ukraine War) is starting. This war is affecting many countries. We cannot do anything during the war because of rising oil prices in the international market.

Emphasis on electric vehicle 

Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari told in the Rajya Sabha that till March 19, 2022, 10 lakh 60 thousand 707 electric vehicles were registered in the country. Gadkari said,

According to the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, 1742 public electric vehicle charging stations have been made functional in the country till March 21, 2022. Work is being done to build charging stations on important highways of the country at a distance of 5 km.

The Union Minister said that when most people start using electric vehicles, then the effect of increase in petrol and diesel prices will reduce. That is why the emphasis is being laid on the variety of electric vehicles from the auto company as well and a lot of curiosity is being shown among the people about it. Emphasis is also being given by the government to promote it.
