To avail the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, the account holder has to first login to the internet banking facility of the bank where he/she has a savings account and then follow the process of applying for the scheme. Remember that an individual can avail the scheme through only one bank account. There can be a cover of one year in this plan from June 1 to May 31.
how much premium will have to be paid
The premium amount in Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana is Rs 12 per year per member inclusive of all taxes. This amount is deducted from the customer’s account on or before 1st June every year through auto-debit facility.
