Mandatory to get eKYC done

There is big news for the ration card holders in Bihar. Ration card holders have been alerted in Nalanda. It has been made mandatory for them to get EKYC done by June 30, otherwise their ration can be stopped. The ration card holder in the district should complete it by June 30 in any case, otherwise his name can be removed from the list.

A year back, a notice was sent to all the ration card holders asking them to link the card with Aadhaar under any circumstances. The card has not been linked to Aadhaar by more than 210000 beneficiaries of Bihar Sharif subdivision.

There is a strict instruction to the Central Government that everyone has to complete the work of Aadhaar seeding by June 30 under any circumstances. That’s why a special campaign will be launched. In a special campaign, card holders will be appealed to visit the nearest Public Distribution System shop and link the card with Aadhaar through PoH machine.

Will get coarse grain

The same meeting was held in Muzaffarpur under the chairmanship of Rakesh Kumar, President of the Dealers Association. In which the dealers have been instructed to link the missed beneficiaries with Aadhaar card on priority. Along with this, the consumer will be given coarse grains. A decision has been taken for this also.

Ration will be distributed on May 22

Antyodaya and eligible household ration card holders in Uttar Pradesh will be distributed free of cost food grains allotted for the month of May. Ration is to be distributed between 10 and 22 of this. Antyodaya card holders will be paid 14 kg wheat, 30 kg rice per card. A total of 35 kg of food grains will be provided to them while 2 kg of wheat and 3 kg of rice will be provided per household card holders. Food grains are to be distributed through e-posh machines.

Nodal officers will distribute free food grains to the beneficiaries under their supervision at every fair price vendor’s shop. Facility of portability transaction will be available in free distribution. Will be able to do portability transaction on the limit of available stock. Whereas May 22 has been fixed. Consumers who can get food grains through Aadhaar authentication will be able to take food grains through mobile OTP verification.
