Realme is rumored to announce the Realme 9i smartphone globally in January 2022. Last week, publication ThePixel.vn presented concept renders of the original Realme 9i handset. Today, the same publication shared key specifications of the smartphone.
The Vietnamese publication claimed that it has learned from its sources that the Realme 9i will be powered by the Snapdragon 680, a 6 nm chip that supports 4G LTE connectivity. Realme 9i display and camera
Tipster Chun claimed that the Realme 9i will sport an LCD panel that offers Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. He said that the Realme 9i will have a 50-megapixel primary camera. Renders have revealed that the design of the smartphone will be inspired by the Realme GT Neo2 flagship phone.
The render of the Realme 9i has revealed that it will have a punch-hole display at the front. There will be a triple camera unit in its rear shell. For security, it is expected to feature a side-facing fingerprint scanner. Rumors have it that there are four models in the Realme 9 lineup namely Realme 9, Realme 9i, Realme 9 Pro, and Realme 9 Pro+.
All four models can be launched in February
The company may hold a launch event in January and February to announce the four models. Reports have revealed that the Realme 9i carries the RMX3941 model number, while the RMX3392 / RMX3393 model number is associated with the Realme 9 Pro+.
Realme GT 2 Pro will be launched this month
In addition, the Chinese manufacturer will announce the Realme GT 2 Pro featuring the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 this month. It is expected to offer specs like a 6.51-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, OIS-enabled 50-megapixel triple camera and a 5,000mAh battery with 125W UltraDart fast charging.
