Reliance Jio launched the JioPhone Next smartphone in India in October. Now, the company is apparently working on two more consumer electronics products, a new tablet and a smart TV. According to a report by 91Mobiles, tipster Mukul Sharma has revealed that the Indian telecom giant is working on a new Jio tablet and Jio TV that will launch next year.

Apart from these two products, the company was recently rumored to be working on a laptop as well. While the leakster shared that a tablet and TV are in the works, he did not give any specifics about these products. So unfortunately, we have no idea about the specifications with which the tablet and TV will ship.
Jio TV will have so much
The company may be working on a new smart TV that may come with support for OTT apps. Notably, the company may also bundle the set up box that it provides with the TV along with Jio Fiber broadband. This product can also be launched in several size options.
About Jio Tablet
We can expect that the tablet will run on PragatiOS out-of-the-box. For those unaware, there is a proprietary OS of the company which was created in partnership with Google for JioPhone Next. The tablet should offer a bigger display and could possibly be powered by an entry-level Qualcomm chipset due to the Indian brand’s partnership with the American chipmaker. Apart from this, the tablet in question will also be priced similar to its other products.
