Samsung Galaxy M01 which was launched in a single storage configuration in India has now got a permanent price cut.


Samsung’s affordable smartphone — the M01 which was launched in a single storage configuration in India has got a permanent price cut in the country and is now available for Rs 8,399 instead of the launch price of Rs 8,999. The budget phone would be available on Amazon.in under the new price starting Friday.

The Galaxy M01 was originally priced at Rs 8,999 for the single 3GB+32GB storage variant. Earlier, during the Amazon sale, the smartphone was available on the e-commerce site at a revised price.


It is unknown at the moment if the price cut is limited to Amazon or applicable across Samsung stores and Flipkart in India. There are high chances that it might be just available only on Amazon. The phone is available in three colour variants namely Black, Red, and Blue.

Samsung Galaxy M01 specifications


The Galaxy M01 sports a 5.71-inch HD+ Infinity-V display with a resolution of 720×1560 pixels. Under the hood, it has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor, paired with a single 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

It operates on Android 10 and packs 4000mAh battery unit. In the camera department, the Galaxy M01 brings dual cameras featuring a 13-megapixel lens, LED flash, and a 2-megapixel lens. It also has a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies.

Further, the handset has4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Micro-USB charging port, Bluetooth, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio and a fingerprint sensor at the back.
