State Bank of India keeps giving special gifts to its customers from time to time. Due to this, SBI has once again invited applications for postdoctoral research fellowship on its official website sbi.co.in. Let us tell you about SBI Postdoctoral Research Fellowship.
Under this fellowship, selected candidates will be given a fixed monthly stipend of Rs 1 lakh. This will be subject to deduction of TDS if applicable. Apart from this, a lump sum stipend of Rs 2 to 5 lakhs will also be given at the end of 2 years in case of exemplary research performance or international publications in reputed journals based on the performance review committee’s assessment.
Eligibility for application
Candidates should be Phd from Banking, Finance, IT, Economics or BFSI field. He should have minimum 3 years qualification experience in teaching or research work. The maximum age limit has been set for this for 40 years. Please tell that the age will be calculated on the basis of 31 June.
Application Date and Procedure
The application for the postdoctoral research fellowship has started from September 18, which will be open till October 8. Let the candidates know that the hard copy of the online application has to be sent to the address of SBI, CRPD, Corporate Center, Mumbai by October 15. After this there will be interview and presentation round. In this, applications will be shortlisted. In this, the selected candidates will be hired on 2-year contract. Keep in mind that candidates will be selected to work in SBI Kolkata, however, they can be placed anywhere.
Application fee
For this, the candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 750. Apart from this, reserved category candidates including SC ST and PWD candidates will be exempted on the fee.
