The bank has given information about this by tweeting. SBI has told that daughters are being given the facility of Sukanya Samriddhi Scheme by the bank, in which you can make your daughter a millionaire by depositing just Rs 250.

Get the benefit of guaranteed income

The special thing about this government scheme is that you get the benefit of guaranteed income. Along with this, you will also get the benefit of tax exemption. This scheme is specially for girl child. To secure the future of girls, the facility of this scheme is provided by the government.

Getting 8 percent interest

Apart from this, the government is currently giving the benefit of interest at the rate of 8 percent on Sukanya Samriddhi Scheme. Apart from this, you can take this scheme for 2 daughters. On the other hand, if there are two more twin daughters after having the first daughter, then in this situation all the three daughters will get the benefit of this government scheme.

Can be opened for 15 years

You can open this account for a maximum period of 15 years. If you do not deposit the installments of this scheme on time, then you will have to pay Rs 50 as penalty.
