School holidays have been declared in view of heat wave. Summer vacations have started in schools from 21st April. It has been said that 90% of the people in India are vulnerable to the heatwave effect.
As per the instructions of the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, holidays were declared for the children of classes one to twelve in government schools. There will be summer vacation. In view of the same heat, it was decided that the Education Department would inform the date of opening of the school from the due time. Focusing on the health of the child is the first priority.
All government private and Anganwadi centers from 1 to 12 will remain closed. School and Mass Education Minister Sameer Ranjan Das said that according to the academic calendar, the summer vacation in this school was to start from May 4 and continue till May 16, but in view of the unprecedented heat wave, a decision is being taken to extend the vacation.
Summer vacation in hyderabad from april 25
Here in Hyderabad, summer vacation in schools under various managements has started from Tuesday. Summer vacation has been announced in government, private, aided schools. This holiday will be effective from 25 April to 11 June. The school will be reopened from June 12 for the next academic year.

Earlier, West Bengal had also decided to close all the schools, colleges and universities of West Bengal for one week till April 23, except in two hilly districts, in view of the rise in temperature.
