Users can update their Aadhaar in both online and offline mode. According to UIDAI, users will need to update their identity card and address proof every 10 years. However, UIDAI has not made this process mandatory. But updating is a necessary step.
According to UIDAI, such Aadhar card holders who had made Aadhar card 10 years ago, they must update the document. Aadhar card holders can update online by visiting “My Aadhar” portal. Users can update by visiting the Aadhaar center, for which users will have to pay some fee.
