Bank Holiday: This week banks will be open only for three days i.e. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. After this, banks will remain closed for four consecutive days from Thursday.

Of these, one day i.e. Sunday will be a holiday, while the remaining three days are related to festivals. However, these holidays may vary from state to state.

If you have any work related to the bank and there is a need to go to the branch for it, then deal with that work soon. Banks may remain closed for four days this week. Therefore, before going to the bank, definitely check the list of holidays. Failure to do so may put you in trouble.

Actually, this week banks will be open only for three days i.e. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. After this, banks will remain closed for four consecutive days from Thursday. Of these, one day i.e. Sunday will be a holiday, while the remaining three days are related to festivals. However, these holidays may vary from state to state.

Know when and why banks will be closed

on April 14 : Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti is on Thursday. Apart from this, Mahavir Jayanti, Baisakhi, Tamil New Year, Biju Festival, Bihu etc. will be celebrated. On this day, banks will remain closed in other parts of the country except Shillong and Shimla.

April 15 : Friday is Good Friday. There are also festivals like Bengali New Year, Himachus Day, Vishu. On this day, except Jaipur, Jammu and Srinagar, there will be a holiday in banks in other places.

April 16 : Bohag Bihu is on Saturday. Banks will remain closed in Guwahati on this day.

April 17 : Sunday is a holiday in all banks.

Banks will remain closed

in April. Apart from these four days, banks will remain closed in April as well. There will be a holiday in banks in Agartala on 21st April due to Garia Puja. Banks will remain closed due to April 23 being the fourth Saturday of the month. There is a holiday in banks on 24th April due to Sunday. Shab-e-Qadr/Jamal-ul-Vida is on 29th April. Due to this, banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar.
