The war developing in the telecom sector of India is taking a toll on their finances. This week, Airtel India operations reported net loss in the fourth quarter of 2017-18, for the first time in almost 15 years, and this was accompanied by Vodafone India and Idea Cellular. It happened because of low tariffs of Reliance Jio and a cut in ITR (international termination rates).
