PAN will be invalid if not linked

The bank said that the deadline for linking PAN card and Aadhar card is ending on March 31, 2022. Those who do not link Aadhaar and PAN before the end of the deadline, their PAN will be invalid from April 1, 2022. Not only this, if you hand over such a PAN card in any work, which has been invalid, then you will have to pay a fine of 10 thousand rupees.

Money will be charged after April 1

Let us tell you that the PAN card holders who do not link within the deadline for any reason may have to face many other problems. At present, linking of Aadhaar and PAN is free.

This will not happen after the deadline. Linking of PAN and Aadhaar will become chargeable after April 1, 2022. For this you will have to pay a fee of Rs 1000.

    Difficulty opening an account

If you invest money in stock market or mutual fund, then link Aadhaar and PAN immediately. Without PAN, money cannot be invested in the stock market or mutual funds. If you do not link PAN with Aadhaar, it will become invalid. Apart from this, after April 1, 2022, it will also become difficult for such people to open a bank account, whose PAN and Aadhaar will not be linked.

TDS will be deducted three times

In case of non-linking of Aadhaar and PAN, you will also have to pay more TDS on every transaction. For example, if you are still withdrawing PF money, then a lot of TDS will be deducted if PAN is not linked.

10 percent TDS is deducted from account holders who have PAN linked, but more than three times TDS is collected from those who do not have PAN linked.
