While the total volume in decentralized finance (DeFi) stood at $15.16 billion, which is about 17.06 percent of the 24-hour cryptocurrency trading volume. At the same time, total volume in stablecoins is present at $ 74.71 billion, which is 84.06 percent of the 24-hour cryptocurrency trading volume.

Bitcoin _Its market presence has declined by 0.60 percent to 42.42 percent. Bitcoin, the world’s largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, is trading at $38,476.58, down from the $40,000 mark.

In rupee terms, bitcoin is trading at Rs 30,42,202 with a decline of 5.7 per cent. Whereas, Ethereum has fallen 4.13 percent to Rs 2,02,221.

Cardano also down

Talking about Cardano, this cryptocurrency is trading with a fall of 3.6 percent at Rs 62.86. And Avalanche has risen by 0.7 percent to Rs 6,020.9. At the same time, Polkadot is down by 3.32 percent at Rs 1,333.56. Whereas, Litecoin has fallen 3.57 percent to Rs 7,948.8 in the last 24 hours. Tether has gained 0.62 percent to reach Rs 79.35.

Mimecoin SHIB has seen a decline of 4.74 percent. Whereas, Dogecoin has fallen 2.55 per cent to Rs 9.14. At the same time, Terra (LUNA) is present at Rs 7,600 with a rise of 0.46 percent.

If you look at Solana, this cryptocurrency has seen a decline of 3.33 percent during the last 24 hours. It is currently trading at Rs 6,517.1. At the same time, XRP has fallen 2.24 percent to Rs 58.26. Whereas, Axie has come down by 2.7 per cent to Rs 3,600 in the same period.

The government was about to bring the bill in Parliament

Let us tell you that the government had listed the Cryptocurrency and Regulation of Official Digital Currency Bill, 2021 to be introduced in the winter session of Parliament. It was also listed for the first budget session, but it could not be presented, as the government had decided to work on it again.

Cryptocurrencies have emerged as a popular option among people in the recent times as an investment. Especially, a large number of youth are investing money in this.
