Bihar Cabinet Decision The Government of Bihar has increased the DA to be given to government servants. 

Along with this, during the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, many other big decisions have been taken which will have an impact on the common people.

State Bureau, Patna. Bihar Cabinet Decision: The Government of Bihar has given a big gift to the people doing government jobs. The government has increased the dearness allowance of government servants by three percent. State employees were getting 31 percent dearness allowance till now.

After the increase, they will get 34 percent dearness allowance. The proposal for increase in dearness allowance was approved in the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday. A total of 14 proposals were approved in the meeting.

The benefit of dearness allowance with effect from January 1

After the cabinet meeting, Additional Chief Secretary of the cabinet, Sanjay Kumar told that the state employees will get the increased dearness allowance from January 1, 2022.

This decision of the government will benefit more than four lakh employees and 3.5 lakh pensioners. After the approval of this proposal, the government will get an additional burden of Rs 1133 crore annually.

Eight new diseases included in the list of diseases

The cabinet has included eight new diseases in the admissible diseases for medical reimbursement of officers and employees of the state. New diseases have been added to the list, including rheumatoid arthritis, chronic disease, hyperthyroidism, psoriasis, lichen planus, cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s disease and pelvic inflammatory disease.

Kashmir Files movie made tax free 

Sanjay Kumar said that after the approval of the Chief Minister, the film Kashmir Files was made tax free in the state from March 16, 2022. The cabinet has also approved this proposal on Monday.

Contingency fund amounted to 9500 crores

The Bihar Contingency Fund which was 350 crores after the proposal of the Finance Department. It has been approved to temporarily increase to Rs 9500 crore till 23 March 2023.

73 new fire fighting vehicles will be purchased 

On the proposal of the Home Department, the Cabinet has approved the purchase of 73 new vehicles in place of 107 damaged vehicles of Bihar Fire Service. An amount of Rs 43.80 crore has been approved for vehicle purchase. This amount can be up to four percent of the total budget.

Investment Commissioner’s office in Mumbai, 3.82 crore approved

The Cabinet has approved the proposal to set up the Office of Investment Commissioner in Mumbai. 3.82 crore has been approved for the establishment of the office and its operation with effect from April 1, 2022.

other important decisions 

Under the Essential Commodities Act, the District Officer can delegate the powers conferred under the Public Distribution System to any Additional District Magistrate or any equivalent officer of his district.

117.89 crore sanctioned for construction of ROB in place of railway bridge in the third kilometer of Mirjanhat path from Sundarvati Mahila College in Bhagalpur district.

Prabhash Kumar, the then Deputy Collector of Land Reforms of Piro, Bhojpur, and Ramesh Prasad Diwakar, the then Deputy Collector of Land Reforms of Sherghati-Gaya, Dr. Sudhar Kumar Jha, District Program Officer, Darbhanga, approved the proposal to sack small, medium and other industries.

Bihar State Mining Corporation was given an extension of three years for supply of coal at price. This period ended on March 31. Now they have been nominated for coal supply till 31 March 2025.
