According to the news published in Zee Business Hindi, this indication has been received from the inflation figures. Actually, tremendous growth is visible in the figures of AICPI index. With this, employees can get a new gift in the year 2023. The next increase in dearness allowance is to be in January 2023. But, the inflation figures for industrial workers are indicating that DA may increase by 4 percent. Experts are also of the opinion that looking at the current situation, it seems that there will be a good increase in dearness allowance.

DA will be 42 percent

Central employees will get the gift of dearness allowance in the year 2023. According to the news, the announcement of increase of dearness allowance will be done around Holi in March 2023. If the dearness allowance is increased by 4 percent, then after the increase, the dearness allowance will reach 42 percent. Due to which there will be a total increase of Rs 720 per month on the minimum basic salary.

At the same time, for the maximum salary range, this increase will be at the rate of Rs 2276 per month. Actually, the Labor Ministry has released the data of All India Consumer Price Index-Industrial Workers (AICPI). In September, this figure has been at 131.2. The AICPI index has gained a total of 2.1 per cent till September 2022 as compared to June. In comparison to August last month, there has been a jump of 1.1 percent.
