Amul hikes milk prices

The country’s largest dairy and milk product company Amul has increased the prices of its own packaged milk. This decision of Amul can spoil the budget of the common man on festivals. On Saturday morning, Amul increased the price of milk by Rs 2 per liter. The new prices have come into effect from today.

Earlier the prices were increased in August

Let us tell you that in August also, Amul has increased the prices of milk and made it costlier by Rs 2 per liter. After this increase, the price of Amul Shakti milk has gone up to Rs 50 per liter, Amul Gold milk to Rs 62 per liter and Amul fresh milk by Rs 56 per litre.

Prices after latest hike

After the latest increase in the price, the price of Amul full cream milk is Rs 61 per litre, toned milk Rs 51 per litre, double toned milk Rs 45 per liter, cow milk Rs 53 per liter and tokenized milk Rs. The price has gone up to Rs 48 per liter.

Mother Dairy also increased prices in August

In August, along with Amul, Mother Dairy had also increased the price of milk. Mother Dairy had increased milk prices by Rs 2 per liter in Delhi-NCR. The new rates are applicable from August 17. Earlier in March this year also Mother Dairy had increased the prices of milk. On increasing the rate, the company said that due to the increase in the price of diesel, the cost of transportation has increased significantly.
