Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) will give a big gift on May 30 under PM CARES for Children Scheme. The PMO has given this information.

PM CARES for Children Scheme: Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) will give a big gift to the children who lost their parents under the Corona period on Monday i.e. May 30 under PM CARES for Children Scheme. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has given this information by issuing a notification.

PMO gave information 

According to the information given by the PMO, ‘The Prime Minister will transfer the scholarship to the school going children. During the program organized through video conferencing at 10:30 am, the Prime Minister will also hand over the health card to the children under the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Scheme along with the passbook of PM Cares for Children.

PM Modi announced 

It is worth noting that on May 29, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced the facility of education and medical insurance to such children under the PM Cares for Children scheme with an assistance of Rs. Earlier the deadline for taking benefits under this scheme was December 31, 2021. However, later this deadline was extended till February 28, 2022.

Most applications from Maharashtra

According to the report of Livemint, a portal named pmcaresforchildren.in was launched for the registration of children. According to the data shared by Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani, the maximum 1,158 applications were received from Maharashtra. After that 768 applications were received from Uttar Pradesh, 739 from Madhya Pradesh, 496 from Tamil Nadu and 479 from Andhra Pradesh.

You will get these benefits 

1. The government will give a monthly stipend till the age of 18 years to the children who lose their parents due to corona.

2. Under this, a lump sum amount of Rs 10 lakh will be given from the PM Cares Fund when the children turn 23 years old.

3. Free education will be given to these children by the central government.

4. Under this, children will get loan for higher education, the interest of which will be given from PM Cares Fund.

5. These children will get health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh for 18 years under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.

6. The premium of insurance will be filled from PM Cares Fund.

7. Children below the age of ten years will be admitted to the nearest central school or private school.

8. Children who are between 11 to 18 years will be admitted to any residential school of the Central Government like Sainik School and Navodaya Vidyalaya.

9. If the child lives with his guardian or any other family member, then he will also get admission in the nearest Kendriya Vidyalaya or private school.

10. If the child is enrolled in a private school, then under the Right to Education Act, his fees will be given from the PM Cares Fund and the expenses of his school uniform, books and copies will also be paid.
