Since when has PPF interest not increased?

There has been no change in the interest on PPF since April 2020, when it was reduced to 7.1 percent. Whereas for April-June 2021, the government had proposed to reduce it from 7.1 percent to 6.4 percent. However, this decision was withdrawn after a day. At present, PPF is still one of the highest interest paying small savings schemes.
